Your ultimate guide for paleo meal planning on a budget. 18 of the tastiest, healthiest paleo-friendly dishes you can make for your family without breaking the bank!
As a follow-up to my series of budget friendly meal recipe roundup, 1o Healthy Meals on a Budget & 15 Plant Based Meals on a Budget, I though it was time to cater to the paleo crowd!
With the start of a new year a lot of people are embracing healthier living and that includes experimenting with new dietary lifestyles. This includes the Whole 30 and the paleo diet. In fact these are at the top of most people’s lists.
While I’m not a big fan of the paleo diet myself, any diet that promotes healthy whole foods from the earth and gets people on a better path to overall wellness has at least some positive qualities in my eyes. (you can read more about the positives of certain diets here).
A paleo ‘approved’ meal is one that is gluten-free, grain-free, high in protein, low in carbs, and full of fresh produce. It usually is higher in animal fat and doesn’t contain a lot of sugar either. Some dairy is allowed (depending on who you ask) and starchy vegetable likes sweet potatoes and plantains are the main carb sources.
Today I’ve rounded up 18 of the healthiest paleo meals that also happen to be easy on your budget. Saving money is on most people’s to-do list no matter who you are or what diet you follow. You’ll love this roundup of healthy, whole food meals that don’t break the bank!
