Would be sooo delicious!
Gnu Fiber and Flavor bars have been popping all over the internet, blogs, and I noticed them in my local co-op just the the other day. I just knew I had to try these bars! There were only three flavors available, cinnamon raisin, banana walnut, and chocolate brownie, but many more are offered by the company.
I am not a big chocolate person so i decided to go with the Cinnamon Raisin…..good choice! When I open the colorful package, I immediately smelled the glorious smell that reminded me exactly of a freshly baked oatmeal raisin cookie. The bar was pretty standard sized and visibly full of grains and fruit. The texture was so nice… I really enjoyed the crunch and chew of the 7 (!)whole grains packed into this bar. It was perfectly balanced with sweetness and aromatic cinnamon. The nutritional info was really impressive as well:
