Ooooh today is going good! I got some really good news that I am excited about and it’s making me feel on top of the world! Don’t worry, I’ll definitely be able to share with you all soon…just want to make it official before I do.

Today I am sharing some recent tweets, buys, and eats! And to top all of that off I have a fun giveaway for you all….the best part is that I can choose two winners! Double the fun for this WIAW!

But before we get to all that, I want to start today off with some humor from my Twitter feed. Some of the people I follow are just freaking hilarious! Okay so that last one isn’t a ‘food’ purchase per say ..but it does have to do with food (and exercise…and HEALTH in general) and it is also one of the funniest books I’ve ever read! And I’m not even done yet! I already have a super long list of things I’ve noted from the book that I plan on sharing with you all when I finish reading it. Anyways, I HIGHLY recommend this book. Can’t wait to read A.J.’s other books after this one! He’s a great writer.

And now for that giveaway!  Come to think of it, it’s actually been a few weeks! I don’t think we’ve had a proper WIAW giveaway around here until before my Philippines trip! Well, today’s the day to fix that!

Recently Skout Trail Bars redesigned all their bar packaging and reformulated their bars! I’ve been a big fan of Skout since they got their start so I was excited to see the new graphics as well as the new bars! I think they look awesome and I am excited to giveaway two sampler packs of the new bars to two you! And even better, the owner of the company informed me that these bars are from their freshest batch so they will be extra delicious for whoever is lucky enough to win!

In the sampler you’ll get one bar of each of their rockin’ flavors: Cherry Vanilla, Chocolate PB, Chocolate Coconut, Blueberry Almond, and Apple Cinnamon. The Chocolate Peanut butter is my absolute favorite followed closely by Blueberry Almond and Cherry Vanilla! But seriously, they’re all good.

    How come you buy low carb tortillas and low calorie ones? Do you just like the taste better or what? It seems odd to buy and eat such low calorie tortillas and “noodles” and stuff like that all of the time.

      All the food I eat , I eat because I like it :) the low carb wraps taste like these millet wraps I reviewed a long time ago and can’t buy near me, the wheat wraps are a replacement for my favorite French meadow bakery wraps that aren’t sold around me , and I’ve come to love kelp noodles for their crunch, but they’re always served with a load if some sort of carby goodness (mmm toast!). So do you eat the foods you eat because you like the taste of them? I’d hope so! :)

    I’ve been looking for bars to eat before my morning runs, especially before long runs! Cliff bars are my favorite so far, but I would love to try another option.

    Love finding new bars. Those sounds yummy. I really like the La Tortilla Factory tortillas. My closest store stopped carrying them though.

    Seriously, woman, you always eat so well! I love to come up with recipes and whatnot, but my day to day meals are NEVER as creative as yours. :)

    I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on that book. You are always so insightful and able to articulate my own general feelings about so many health-related trends. [Have you read The Heavy or Obsessed? I'd be VERY intrigued to have an online book club with you about those...]

    I got some of those bars in my-first and only–Conscious Box but have yet to try them…
