More and more people are giving up dairy these days. Whether they have an allergy to lactose or they just feel that dairy causes gastrointestinal discomfort (think bloating, gas, indigestion, etc.), dairy-free living seems to be catching on just as fast as the gluten-free fad.
I, for one, love dairy and eat it in multiple forms everyday, but I don’t judge others for their dietary or lifestyle choices. With that in mind, I decided it was time to do a recipe roundup specifically for those who follow a non-dairy diet.
It can be hard to have your favorite foods that usually have dairy in them when you’ve decided to go dairy-free. Luckily, a lot of talented chefs and bloggers out there have gone to work recreating classic dairy-filled dishes so that they are completely without their staple ingredient. Think sauces, soups, baked goods, dips, and more!
Alternatively I thought about titling this recipe roundup The ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Non-Dairy‘ Recipe Roundup. 😉 Honestly, once you see these recipes, you’ll be thinking the same thing!
