It’s time for another month-end link-up featuring some of the AMAZING content being shared in the Healthy Living Community facebook group! [Not sure what I’m talking about? Get all the details here and consider joining yourself!]
I am continually impressed each and every day with the content our members create and share. Everything from amazing, delicious recipes to innovative fitness tips and all things healthy living in between. Just as last month I’ll be featuring some of those amazing posts from the past few weeks, but first let’s get to this month’s Member Spotlight!
We are honored to feature Debbie Woodruff from Coach Debbie Runs for this month’s Member Spotlight!
Member of the Month: July 2018
Name: Debbie Woodruff
Blog: Coach Debbie Runs
How many years have you been blogging? I started in January 2009, so it will be 10 years next January. (!)
Tell us a little bit about your blog and why you started: When I first started blogging it was because I had a friend who was doing it and it sounded like fun. I had no clue. I called my blog Live from LA Quinta and I basically wrote about my life and my workouts. It evolved over time, obviously. I started sharing vegan recipes (the pictures were so bad back then!) and workouts. After I joined Fitfluential and Sweat Pink back in 2012 I started doing product reviews and putting more effort into evergreen posts like running and even blogging tips. I realized a few years ago that since my blog had evolved so much it was time to rebrand. That’s when I changed to Coach Debbie Runs.
What’s a fun fact about yourself or your blog that the other members in the group may not know yet?
About myself: Many people don’t know I’m adopted.
About my blog: I’m a complete do-it-yourselfer. From the beginning I taught myself how to do everything related to my blog. I switched from Blogger to WP.com to self-hosted all on my own, changed my theme and rebranded. It’s not always perfect but I’m pretty happy with it.
Share a link to one of your favorite posts: It’s hard to pick a favorite after so many years, but this is my most popular post of all time. I feel like it has helped so many women facing an excisional biopsy on their breasts like I went through.
Thanks Debbie! We are so grateful to have you as a member!
