I am a simple girl when it comes to nut butters. Sure, I like all the fancy flavored varieties and interesting blends…but when it comes down to it, my all time favorite will always be peanut butter. Classic peanut butter. There’s nothing like dipping apple or carrot slices into chunky pb or biting into a freshly made peanut butter and jelly with its perfect balance of sweet to salty flavor.I’m a purist with my peanut butter as well. The less ingredients the better. In fact, one just peanuts is my ideal kind! I really enjoy the flavor of peanuts themselves so I don’t need any salts or sugars to detract away from their naturally delicious taste.I think that’s why I like peanut flour so much, too! The uses for peanut butter only go so far because of its consistency, but with flour I am able to add that peanut taste I love to whatever my heart desires.
