A collection of healthy & unique popcorn topping combinations to take your next movie night or snack time to the next level! Popcorn has never been so good.
Movie nights are big in my family. They’re a time to catch up…to be together in each other’s presence without any pressure or obligations…to laugh together…to cry together…to get into discussion…to learn new things…to just take in some quiet moments of pure joy together.
Needless to say, in my family, they’re important. They’re tradition.
We even have a special room in our house dedicated to movie watching! Our at home theatre, if you will.
We’ve always used them as one of our favorite ways of bonding and they’ve been a part of my life ever since I was a little one. Over the years we seen hundreds of movies together from the comfort of our own home. Some flops, some sensations, some downright classics. But more memorable than any of the films we’ve seen is the moments we’ve shared while watching them. To me, movie nights = family time.
Here are just a few of the reasons why family movie nights (and family time in general) are important to me…
+ they strengthen our bond as a family
+ they make me feel loved and valued as a person
+ they create happy moments between us
+ they help us reconnect if we haven’t seen each other or have been busy
In all honesty, I just really love spending time with my family. Since I’m moving out in a few weeks, these family movie nights mean even more to me than usual. I want to enjoy them and appreciate them as much as I can. I think I used to take them for granted but not thy truly mean more to me than ever. I encourage you to plan your own family day, movie night, or afternoon outing some time real soon!
Okay okay. Enough of the sappy stuff. Time to get to the real reason why you’re here. For the tips that will take your next movie night to the NEXT level. Because seriously…what movie night is complete with a big ol’ bowl of delicious fresh popped popcorn?

TRUFFLE OIL + BLACK PEPPER sounds amazing. We eat a ton of popcorn in our house; we like to add Old Bay & Garlic. We can’t talk to anyone for the rest of the day but man it is GOOOOD. #bloggingboost

TRUFFLE OIL! YESSSSS. (Sorry for yelling.) I’ve been meaning to get that! Thanks for the reminder! <3 Definitely going to have to try the coconut oil/cinnamon/sea salt combo too (or really just all of these)! They sound awesome!
Isn’t truffle oil incredible!? Some people say they don’t like it but I think it has such a unique flavor!! YUMMMMM.
MMMMMMM! We love Popcorn, and all of these toppings sound like they would make it just a lot more delicious; my mom just got a new popcorn maker for her birthday that rolls on wheels which is pretty cool.

Exactly! They just go together!
Perfect timing for this post. It has been so cold we are in the house much more than usual. Popping some popcorn and watching a movie while snuggled under some blankets sounds perfect. I just recently had truffle oil popcorn and it was amazing. Can’t wait to try some of your other concoctions!
