How’s everyones weekend going!? From the blog posts I have read so far this morning, it seems like you’re all having fabulous times!
I wanted to share with you all the fun package of snacks I got from Sensible Foods last week! Sensible Foods are the makers of “crunch dried” fruit and vegetable snacks. Think dried fruit or veggies…BUT CRUNCHY! This is great for me because you know how I like my CRUNCHY foods.
Each bag of Crunch Dried Snacks is:
- 100% Fruit or Vegetable and Nothing Else®
- No Added Sugar
- Under 85 Calories Per Bag
- Low Fat Gluten Free
- Kosher Certified
Another thing I like about the snack is that there are so few ingredients in each variety. The fruit ones only have fruit and the veggies ones basically have only the veggie and sea salt!
And not to mention YUMMY!
I was sent a sample of their fruit blends:
Cherry Berry, Orchard Blend, and Tropical Blend (they also have a strawberry banana and a 100% apple variety)
As well as two of their Veggie Varieties:
Sweet Corn and Soy Nuts (they also have a dry roasted edamame) !
I really enjoyed all the varieties actually…..they were all equally crunchy and they all retained their flavor well for being crunch dried!
My favorite out of the fruit varieties was the Cherry Berry blend. I love berries, but fresh ones are just so darn expensive, so this was a great (and fun way) to eat them! I tried all the fruit blends on overnight oats and in apple cereal bowls and loved the crunchy addition they made.
I have had crunch dried snacks in the past where the fruit pieces are almost chopped…but the Sensible Food pieces were whole! Love that. Much better than trying to figure out what type of fruit little diced pieces are.
The sweet corn and soy nuts were both really interesting. The corn tasted fresh and deliciously sweet. The soy nuts were a salty treat and reminded me a lot of corn nuts actually (they were kind of the consistency of some brands of roasted edamame I’ve had). They were full of protein and healthy fats too…so thats always a plus!
Thanks Sensible Foods for introducing me to a wonderful new snack!
And now onto some foodie and fun pics from my weekend:
Have a restful, relaxing Sunday everyone!
