My list of MUST HAVE products for health and happiness on a daily basis! Get some ideas on things you can carry in your bag to keep you on track and progressing towards your wellness goals.
We all have a our daily must haves, right? Whether it’s in regards to fitness, food, or work…there are just certain things we depend on day in and day out to get us through! Today, I wanted to share some of my MUST HAVES for daily healthy living.
Just as my tagline says, health, happiness, and helping others are my number one priorities in life. These products help me maintain my daily healthy habits and I hope that by sharing some of my favorites you’ll get some ideas about what you can incorporate into your own life for overall wellness!
For the RARE time I get caught out and about without snacks on me, I love having Orbit sugar-free chewing gum in my bag! Gum is a flavorful way to keep me going and my mouth occupied until I can get home to make a meal or snack. It’s fresh tasting, comes in a ton of yummy varieties, and actually helps relieve my anxiety too (something about chewing calms me!). I personally think um is always a good choice as people pursue a balanced lifestyle. Not to mention, sugar-free gum, like Orbit, also provides oral care benefits.
My go-to step/workout tracker! Love having it on my wrist and being able to see how active I am in real-time. My FitBit keeps me accountable and also helps me make sure I am fueling my body properly by giving me information on my energy expenditure.
Love this bag for travel and packing snacks on the go when I’m out and about. You know I am a major snacker and my FitMark bag keeps me from getting hangry on the go. It’s spacious, come with a variety of different containers, and ever has its own ice packs if you’re packing a whole fresh meal with you. When you fail to plan, you plan to fail!
My To-List Notebook
I can’t go a day without making a to-do list. It keeps me organized, productive, and on track with my work/business/personal goals for the day. There’s nothing more satisfying than crossing something off your to-do list during the day. My tip? If something can be done now…DO IT. Don’t wait till later. Just get it done.
Peppermint is my go-to flavor! I use it everyday before my runs. Chapped lips are a huge personal pet peeve of mine and my Eos LipBalm makes sure my lips stay moisturized and hydrated no matter how windy or dry it is outside.
Hear me out, friends! I know it sounds weird that a piece of technology like a phone keeps me healthy, but for me, it does! My phone gives me access to all of YOU. All my healthy living inspirations and everyone who is apart of the Healthy Helper community. Being able to connect with you on a daily basis whenever I am feeling discouraged or low on motivation, keeps me focused on my goals and on making good, balanced choices for my body and mind! The power of community is REAL.
Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar + Seltzer Water
My MUST HAVE refreshment during the day. Not only is ACV great for digestion and cleansing your system, but when you combine it with flavored seltzer it makes it taste like pop….no sweeteners needed! A little drink hack for ya. 😉
I don’t need any fancy water bottles or diffusers. Just a good ‘ol shaker bottle filled with water or my favorite electrolyte mix are all I need to stay hydrated during the day. I ALWAYS have bottle with me so I can make sure my drinking stays consistent.
I am coffee OBSESSED and the only sweetener I’ll use in it is stevia. I carry a small bottle with me in my purse so I can grab a cup on the go whenever I feel like. This is a new addition for me! I’ve been taking 1/4-1/2 tsp of turmeric daily (in coffee, in smoothies, in protein ice cream, in oatmeal, etc) for about 3 weeks now and I’ve noticed a HUGE difference. Turmeric contains a compound called curcumin. Studies have found it to be an excellent compound for fighting inflammation of all kinds and I’ve found that to be true! I also feel like I’m more focused and have better cognition, as well as improved digestion. I won’t go a day without it now! Once you get past the taste…it does wonders!!
