I’ve never tried any baking with an alternative flour, so I’m interested in trying all of them, especially since the recipe book is included!

  2. sarah says

Aahhh! You did so so well in your race!! I mean, I TOTALLY knew you would though :).
You should be incredibly proud. How many people get to say they WON a race?!?
    Can’t wait for your re-cap.

Umm, all those grains sound awesome. I’d especially like to try kamut, amaranth and teff- I’ve heard great things about them, but unfortunately never been able to find those ones.

  3. says

I’ve really always wanted to try Kamut, and would love to try the other flours as well!

I like how we both share an addiction to laughing cow cheese wedges. Why do they pair so well with just about everything????

    Have a great day!

I’ve been wanting to try Farro for awhile now after seeing a bunch of recipes on blogs! What a great giveaway! Congrats on your race!

I am a fan of races so long as I don’t run horribly slowly in them. In that scenario I just want to curl up at the finish line and die. But what did I tell you in your case – top 3 finish and I predicted it. Can I have a medal for doing that ;) No, seriously, now I have to live vicariously through you and your speed!

I’ve tried to have protein powder on things rather than blended in before but I always choke on it or sneeze it everywhere…for some reason it’s just too dusty for me to eat when it’s separate like that, but I know plenty of people who can eat it that way just fine. Oh well, obviously I’m just weird (but we all knew that…)

Congrats on your race! That is so awesome! I am a huge fan of Bob’s Red Mill and have only used Quinoa out of the bunch. The first one I’d try is Kamut because I have no idea what to do with it and I love a creative challenge. Thanks for the giveaway :)

  7. says

Congrats on the race! And yay for no rain during it!

I’ve been loving raw honey lately so when I saw some raw whipped honey with cinnamon I just had to try it…and for the record, it’s even tastier than it sounds!

I am a fan of races. I would rather a medium size race,as I am not a super fast runner, but like to be middle of the pack :)

Races are always run (unless the weather is psycho!). I get nervous in the days leading up to them, but always end up enjoying myself. Congrats on a great race!!
