Celebrate National Homemade Soup Day with seven delicious, healthy soups and stews. Full of nutrients and perfect for one pot, easy meals all week long!
Yes I know National Soup Month has (sadly) ended, but that doesn’t mean the soup train can’t keep rolling on! Especially since today is NATIONAL HOMEMADE SOUP DAY!
You’d think that would have been part of last month but no dice. It’s here this month and I am ready to celebrate!
I just love soup. There is something so comforting and warming about a big bowl of brothy soup with lots of ingredients or a cream pureed soup that is smooth and rich. Pair it with a side of bread or crackers and you’ve got the ultimate meal for a wintry day.
Winter is back in full force in Buffalo, so I guess National Homemade Soup Day couldn’t have come at a better time.
Today I’ve rounded up 7 of my best soups and stews from the blog as well as some of my favorite soups that I’ve made from other bloggers! All in all, you’re getting a SOUPer post filled with yummy recipes. (had to use the pun! 😉 )
Here are some of my favorites from others…
What’s your favorite soup?
Do you prefer homemade or canned soup?
How’s the weather where you are right now?
