Healthy Copycat Cocoa Krispies [vegan + gluten-free]

  • 1.5 cups puffed rice cereal
  • ¼ cup raw buckwheat groats
  • 1 packet Four Sigmatic Hot Chocolate Mix
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 4 tbsp date syrup (10 dates soaked overnight, blended with ½ cup soaking liquid)
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp vanilla bean powder
  • Optional: 2 tbsp unsweetened chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together (except chocolate chips if using). Evenly spread mixture on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake for 9 minutes, stirring half way through. Let cool before mixing in chocolate chips. Store in an airtight container or bag.
