Hey friends! Boy, NOT blogging as often is tough. I have so many things I want to share, and with only a few days to do it (desperately trying to make myself stick to that schedule), I feel like I am never getting everything out that I want to. I just have to keep reminding myself that this is only temporary. Once I get through this (KILLER) semester, I can resume my blogging/writing/connecting activities as normal. I cannot wait for that!
Speaking of not being able to share everything I want with you guys, HOW LONG has it been since I’ve done a fitness/workout post around here?! Obviously, TOO LONG. Well that changes today as I have a new workout that I created to get you guys sweating up a storm! In addition, I’ve also rounded-up some of my favorite workouts from my blogging friends.
Today we’re focusing on: BODYWEIGHT WORKOUTS!
No equipment. No gym needed. Convenient, do-anywhere workouts, that will get your heart rate up, build muscle, and challenge your fitness in ways you never imagined! Here’s a few more reasons why EVERYONE should be incorporating bodyweight training into their fitness schedules:
+challenging at any level of fitness because you are literally having to support and move your FULL bodyweight
+more use of core muscles since bodyweight movements force you to engage your core throughout the exercise
+increases in flexibility and balance
+expenses are not an excuse because you only need YOUR BODY to work out
+there are hundreds of different bodyweight exercises and a million ways to arrange them into a fun workout…so you’ll never be bored
