Hellooooooo FRIDAY! Okay, I am writing this on Friday night, but it’s okay to start celebrating a little early right? 😉
This week I turned the last of my HUGE term projects for grad school (which is going well by the way…I really like the program!) and now I feel like I finally have a little bit more freedom. These past few week’s have been non-stop with the marathon, fundraising, work, and school. I am due for a little R&R. Some rest, relaxation, good food, good fun, and time with friends. Luckily, I have a lot of that coming up in the next few weeks.
I hung out a bunch with friends last week and have some more plans for this upcoming week! Especially next Friday since it’s CINCO DE MAYO! Can you believe I’ve never properly celebrated May 5th? Sure I’ve had the measly taco or buritto bowl on the day of, but I’ve never been to a fun Cinco de Mayo party or get-together. That changes this year.
This year, one of my friends is hosting kind of a ‘friendsgiving’ in May for Cinco de Mayo. It’s going to be potluck style and everyone is bringing a festive dish to share.
