I promise…LAST graduation centered post!! I know you’re all probably sick of all us ‘class of 2012 er’s’ talking about graduation, but after the party my parents held for me last night, I have to do one more recap
Last night was even more special to me than my actual graduation ceremony I think. In that one room at my favorite restaurant was everyone (well a lot of the people at least!) that helped me get to where I am today and supported me through these past four years.
Not only was the party really fun (believe me, when the Proulx’s get together, you know it’ll be a good time ), but the love and support I felt from everyone completely filled my heart.
People usually receive gifts for graduation, but I have to say the best gift I received was being given the opportunity to celebrate with my family.
My parents truly are the most thoughtful, generous people I know and I could never have accomplished all that I have without them. They made me a photo album chronicling my entire life and it brought me to tears.
I am in awe of how special my parents are and how lucky I am to have them in my life. I really wish I could express how much they mean to me and how appreciative I am of them. Words don’t really do these feelings justice, but I will say that everything I am and everything I‘ve done is a reflection of them. They are my inspiration and motivation for everything I do and I plan on leading my life in honor of them and in a way that would make them proud. Thank you again Mom and Dad. You have made this time in my life more meaningful than you could ever know.
And now for some more pics to really give you a sense of the night!
