Recently, Kailey over at SnackFace (<- one of my all time favorite blogs ever) wrote a post about the ways she create balance in her life. Not by some set rules, in comparison with anyone else, or by some rigid standards….but by the way she and her body are feeling. I always love the positivity and individuality that Kailey’s posts encourage, so when she invited others to write their own “balance” post I couldn’t wait to create one for myself.
Channeling a bit of Kailey’s lingo>>>let’s do this.
My kind of balance looks a little sumpin’ like this:
Waking up to this adorable little face every morning and remembering that there are things in the world that will always make me smile.
Starting each and every day with a hearty meal that fuels my body for the rest of the day to come!
Surrounding myself with people that love and support me.
Busying myself with fun, fitness, and of course the inevitable LOADS of schoolwork.
Splashin’ a little color in in my life!
Having interesting chats with the mail man about the constant stream of packages sent to my house.
And above all balance in my life is listening to my heart, my mind, and my body and taking each day one healthy step at a time.
Sounds just about right to me.
