A note on self-care and how I am going to change my life by implementing it daily.
It’s time we stop talking the talk when it comes to self-care and actually start WALKING the WALK. As much as I love the idea of self-care and see its importance, I have not been consistent lately (especially the past 6 months) with practicing it in the ways I know I should.
Well that ends now. For once in my life I am going to put my health & happiness first. I am going to prioritize ME. It may seem or feel selfish, but I promise you, it’s not. I cannot be the best sister, daughter, friend, employee, blogger, coach, or person I can be without instituting a daily practice of self-care and reaching out for help when needed. And neither can you.
So for the time being, I am diving in deep. Into my wants, my needs, my body and mind disconnect, and trying to find the person inside me I have lost.
