Yes it’s me! Your long lost blogger friend! I guess my blogging break wasn’t as long as I thought it would be (and I was able to give you all a little something with my wonderful guest posters!)….but honestly I just couldn’t stay away any longer! I missed you all to much!
This post is kind of gonna be a mish mash of things from the past week. I feel like I have so much to share!!
WHAT IS THE DEAL!? It seems like just yesterday I was stressed out by end of the year exams. I cannot believe it Summer is basically OVER. I’m actually really sad.
As much as I like Fall (my birthday, visiting my sister, cute boots and sweaters, cool temps for running, apple picking!), it means that school is starting again and I start getting anxious about all the work I have ahead of me. Of course I’ll get back into the swing of things but its just the anticipation that’s got me stressed. Plus I just found out who my homeroom teacher is and it just happens to be the only teacher in my whole school who I don’t get along with
But aside from that a stuff a new month means new opportunities and new beginnings so I’m gonna jump on the goal setting band wagon for a second here (hope ya don’t mind, I know you all get swamped with these posts at the beginning of each new month):
Some fun stuff and some needed stuff:
-Go apple picking!
I do this every year so it won’t be that hard to accomplish Plus who doesn’t love a million pounds of apples!!!
–Finish filling out all my college apps. (THIS IS A MUST!)
-Get most of my extended essay done.
This is a requirement for me to graduate….4000 word research paper. Yeaaaah, gotta get working on that!
-Enjoy my senior year!!
I’ve never been big into the party scene or anything like that. And even though I am really involved in school activities, I feel like socially I haven’t put myself out there that much. So hopefully I can get out and do some fun stuff to celebrate my last year of high school<-wow that feels crazy to say….it always seemed so far off!
– Don’t procrastinate.
I know senioritis is an easy rut to fall into, so this one is kind of the overall theme to my goals….DON’T let things pile up and get out of control!
-Run a race!
Just gotta find one to sign up for!
Tell me one goal you have for September (or the fall in general!)!
On Monday my mom and I made a trip up to a new Whole Foods that opened a few hours away in Canada. I was excited cause, as you all know, I don’t get to go too often!

[my fave corn tortillas, pumpkin ginger brown rice noodles, frozen beans and greens]
[baby kabocha…already roasted and eaten, it was DELICIOUS]

Since I am away this weekend and don’t have access to my email, my post featuring all your amazing covers will be on Monday. Its gonna be an inspiring one folks…..the covers I’ve received so far are truly amazing and give out such positive messages. Much better than the crap on the racks out there!
Sorry I’ve been bombarding you so much lately with all the contest talk but I just think its so important for us, especially most of us being girls, to focus on the important things in life rather than each other’s bodies and especially BAD body images.
So long from the road!!
PS: I tried p90x for the first time tonight and was actually reeeeally disappointed!! I was expecting it to be so much more challenging but I just found it really easy. I did the plyo DVD which is apparently the most intense one so I can’t even imagine what the other ones are like. Did anyone have a similar experience? What are your thoughts on this?
