It’s that time of year, friends. The holidays are over and everyone is looking for one last excuse to gather with friends and family, make some good food, and enjoy each other’s company. Luckily, that’s why SPORTS exist.
I’ve always been a big fan of watching sports. Baseball and hockey are my jam. Coming from a family full of athletes, I was exposed to sports at a young age. Watching, playing, and going to live events. It’s always been fun, a chance for camaraderie with complete strangers, and just a great way to get away from the real world for a while and be totally engaged in something exciting!
I also come from a very sports oriented city. Buffalo LOVES their sports teams. We may not always be the best (ok…usually we aren’t), but I will say we have some of the best FANS in the world. Ask anyone! It’s pretty hard to argue.
So even though I am not the biggest football fan, I ALWAYS root for the Buffalo Bills! They’re fun to watch, they always make things interesting and exciting, and this year….they made it into the playoffs! I know, I know…we’ve been here before (though it has been a SEVENTEEN YEAR drought….talking to the Buffalonians reading). But this year MAY be it…it may be the year we make it to the big game! A girl/Bills fan can dream, right?!
And I’m even more excited about this possibility given the fact that Mission® sent me a Buffalo Bills PARTY KIT jam-packed with everything I need to throw my own celebration if the Bills make it in! Of course, now that I had all the party essentials, I needed to think up some fun snacks to serve to my guests.
Being the Buffalo gal that I am, my mind automatically went to…chicken wing dip. A staple of football tailgates near and far.
Buffalo is the home of the original chicken wing, so it only seemed right to make a recipe that showcased a popular snack we are known for! And with a bag of Mission® Tortilla Chips Strips on hand, Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip seemed like a great plan.
But in true Healthy Helper fashion…I had to put a twist on it. So I took it in a direction you’d never guess….I made it VEGAN.
WHAT?! Vegan CHICKEN WING Dip?! Yup. It’s possible…and it’s delicious. See for yourself.

I like chips very much even without dips but like the green salads. Dips would really make them heaven sent. This is craving worthy indeed, in a healthy way.

Hi! Just wondering if you made your own ranch dressing seasoning, or if there’s a vegan store-bought one I don’t know about?
I used this: https://amzn.to/2rLAuCZ
Hope that helps!
