Time to play some catch up!
How was everyone’s week? Mine was pretty relaxed actually for being so close to exams! Lots of people were missing from school today as you can imagine…oh 4/20…so as a result most of my teachers didn’t really make us do much in class. WIN. It’s nice to have a chill day at school for once!
Anyways, I kind of have a lot of random ramblings to share with you all today! A few fun WEGO prompts, some fun pics from the week, a couple Friday Faves, and just a whole bunch of end of the week musings!
So let’s get right to it!
Here are my responses to a few of the WEGO Health Activist month prompts from the past week…
10 Things I Couldn’t Live Without: Write a list of 10 things you need (or love) most.
Its kind of hard to pick 10 things without sounding kind of primadonna-ish, ya know? Because I am sure the 10 things for someone in the US would greatly differ from someone in the third world country. But its just for fun I guess so I’ll make a list!
1. my phone-for communication and connection purposes
2. my parents-the two most important people in my life
3. my bike-the greenest way to get around
4. a pair of sneakers-the most useful type of footwear in my opinion
5. access to a grocery store-for obvious reasons
6. stretchy headbands-gotta tame the beast that is my hair somehow
7. fruits and vegetables-my favorite food groups
8. my yoga mat-gotta get my practice in
9. a pen and paper-to make to-do lists
10. ELLA-of course
Learned the hard way: What’s a lesson you learned the hard way?
Stick with people who are true friends, not those who seem to be ‘popular’.
Unfortunately in my naïve middle school years, I stopped hanging out with someone who was a really great, genuine friend in favor of a group of people who seemed to be higher in the social hierarchy of my school. By the time I wised up and realized that none of that is important, it was to late and I lost a friend that probably could have been a life long companion.
Lesson learned the hard way for sure.
Shifting from that kind of pessimistic tone though…how about some pics from the week!
More summery outfits:
Love waking up in the morning and not have to freeze my but off on my walk to my car. Praise the warm weather!
Packages from across the pond:
I caved and ordered more Nakd bars from the UK. I am addicted and I have officially realized that the Cocoa Loco variety is for sure my favorite. Hello chocolate-peanutty goodness!
Random pants sightings at my school:
So apparently someone was walking around pants-less today? Different strokes for different folks I guess!
Greek yogurt style kefir:
Spotted at Wegmans! Hmmm I wonder how that works…since kefir is supposed to be like liquid yogurt and greek yogurt is anything but!!Innnnnteresting…
PS: I also saw that they had Limited Edition BIRTHDAY CAKE flavor kefir!! MUST try ASAP!
And of course some pins for good measure!
Truth right there.
Finished Catching Fire today…starting Mocking Jay tomorrow. It’s an obsession.
Anything you could possibly be angry about instantly vanishes.
I am still crazy addicted to Pinterest people…I rarely have time to go on, but when I do I go hog wild on pinning sprees!! There is just so much good stuff out there that I want to save and keep! Its like online scrap booking!
Okay and let me just say…I am SO SORE today! I did the toughest at home workout I have ever done the other day!
I am not the biggest fan of BodyRock any more since it’s basically become more of a porno than a fitness site…but when Zuzanna was still there they used to do these Rep challenge workouts all the time! So when I saw that they put a new one out the other day…I thought I’d give it a go!
Literally kicked my butt. Those Sandbag Drop Burpees are NO JOKE! Try this one out if you’re looking for a cardio-strength filled challenge!
A few last notes before I go:
A little hint hint on tomorrow’s post…have you been wanting to get your hands on the latest Larabar flavor? Want some cappuccino action of your own? Well then you will definitely want to check back here tomorrow!
Oh and I also wanted to try and film a vlog this weekend!! A few of you have requested a cooking type vlog…but I was also thinking I could do a q and a type video since I have a ton of great questions from all of you from my last giveaway. So it’s up to you! Cooking vlog or Q and A vlog? What would you rather see?
Were you able to follow all of that word vomit?! Lots of random thoughts going on today apparently. Sometimes its hard to gather your thoughts into a central focus…but that’s why I blog I guess! Gotta get ‘em out somehow!
Enjoy your days off!!
