Holiday weekends are just the best aren’t they!? For the blog world, for the real world…everyone just seems so much more chipper and upbeat! I love it! Hopefully we can all keep these positive attitudes up for the rest of the week!
Today I have my second round up of some of the WEGO Health Activist Month prompts! These are just a few from the past few days that caught my eye and I thought would be fun to participate in!
Health haiku. Write a haiku about your health focus. 5 syllables/7 syllables/5 syllables. Write as many as you like.
You are your own ‘fit’.
No need to compare yourself.
Embrace who you are.
I decided to write my haiku about something that I see almost daily in the blogworld…and the real world for that matter! Comparison. But the simple fact of the matter is, you can only be you. The more you try to be like someone else or compare yourselves to them the harder your life will be because you are fighting against what’s natural….being yourself.
Keep calm and carry on. Write (and create) your own Keep Calm and Carry On poster. Can you make it about your condition? Then go to (http://www.keepcalm-o-matic.co.uk/) and actually make an image to post to your blog.
I thought this one was such a cute idea! Fun too!
I kind of rebelled against the typical “Keep Calm” posters when I was creating mine. But the message I was trying to convey was that…yeah its good to remain calm under stressful situations, but frankly as humans we all need to just FREAK OUT sometimes. If we keep heated emotions bottled up inside because that seems like the right or acceptable thing to do, we end up stressing ourselves out even more!!! So take this sign as your free pass to let your emotions out! Go ahead! Sometimes ya just need a good cry, scream, laugh, or yell!
What was the highlight of your weekend?
What’s is your favorite “Keep Calm” poster?
Who’s excited for WIAW tomorrow!?
See ya later!
