I know I say this a lot….but WOW. The comments on my last post (GO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY IF YOU HAVEN’T YET ) seriously brought tears to my eyes. Not only did you all say incredibly kind things…but it was so nice to hear what wonderful things you all do each day to live your best life possible…
Those are only a few of the wonderful comments people left…if you are in need of a little positivity or a dose of inspiration I highly suggest going to check out the comments section of that post!!
Well, even when you only take a few days off from blogging, SO MUCH HAPPENS! I feel like I have so much to share with you all…not to mention a ton of fun pics!
So, I thought I would fill you all in a little bit on how I spent the week through a ‘what I’m loving’ post…
At home practices or Bikram at my local studio. I have been doing yoga everyday for a the past week and half and it is really centering. Not only is it a great time for me to think and process the day, but I feel like I am using my body in a whole new way. Can’t wait to go to Bikram tomorrow morning with my mom!
Fave poses of the moment include:
2. Long walks with Ella
I have been taking her for about an hour long walk everyday and I think she’s really enjoying it! I put in an audio book and just enjoy the great outdoors with my favorite little friend.
3. How To Kill Eleven Million People
Don’t freak out people! It’s the title of the latest audio book I just finished. It was all about the Holocaust and how events like that can occur in history. It was seriously FASCINATING! I am a history freak and the interworking’s of the Nazi regime and how Hitler was able to take control of Germany has always intrigued me. And the theories and ideas the author proposed are so applicable to our society today. Without getting into to much detail (don’t want to spoil the book!), he basically boils everything down to whether people are telling the truth or not. That is how bad (and good!) people come into power…and how humans can be convinced of doing anything….including killing eleven million innocent people.
4. Board Games
My parents and I have been playing a ton of board games lately! I kind of forgot how fun it is to unplug for a bit and do something that doesn’t involve technology or electronics for entertainment. Scrabble for the win!!
5. Baking up a storm!
I have TWO new recipes to share with you all this weekend! Stay tuned!
6. Nakd Bars
Just finished up my last ones from the swap I did with Nicky…SO SAD to see them go. They are seriously delicious…so delicious in fact, that I maaay have ordered some all the way from the UK. They are worth the shipping costs…#sorryimnotsorry.
7. HUGE snacks
[crackers with tons of pb and banana+ a larabar]
[rice cakes with cottage cheese and pear butter, carrots with sunbutter, a strawberry fruition bar, and an orange]
I have been snacking a lot more lately! And I am loving every single bite.
8. Aerie Undies
TMI? Maybe…but I just love going out and buying pretty underwear! It’s a just a simple fun thing for us girls! Especially when they’re on sale 7 for 26….SCOOORE.
9. Bravo TV
I have been waking up super early lately…like waaaay to early for a week off from school. So I have just been kind of laying around for a bit until it’s a more appropriate time to get up and eat breakfast. There is seriously NOTHING on TV in the morning…but I realized that Bravo plays some actual shows (like other things besides infomercials…I don’t need a Sham Wow thankyouverymuch ). I’ve become very good friends with all the “Real Housewives”, Chef Roble, the Million Dollar Matchmaker, and Tabatha.
And if you don’t know who any of those people are…consider yourself lucky.
10. Browsing Book Stores
I have a gone to Barns and Noble and a few local book stores a bunch of times over the past week! I just love roaming around the aisles and reading little snippets of different books. I keep seeing a ton of books I want to read…but I already have such a long list that I couldn’t justify buying any more! Here are some that looked interesting:
[I probably won’t actually read this because I think it’s a book for people looking to lose weight…but I thought the message was a good one! And one you don’t see too often promoted in society! Fat=Our FRIEND!]
[Love Tina Fey!!!]
[Loved the documentary so I am sure I’d loooove the cookbook!]
Are you a yoga lover?
