Well right now I am literally UP in the air!!! Blogging from the sky, people….it’s the way of the future
Sorry I have been so MIA these past two days…but with only a little bit of time in San Diego, I wanted to make the most of it. Blogging and social media stuff fell to the way side. But it actually felt nice to unplug for a bit. Normal commenting and posting will resume ASAP!
Well, like I said, we are on our way home I really wish we didn’t have to leave so soon, but I have to get back for school and my parents to work. I am really going to miss my sister and the city in general. It really is a gorgeous place. Luckily thought, Christmas is right around the corner (YIKES! I have got to get started on present shopping!! I am usually done already by this time!!!), so it won’t be too long before I see my sis again!
The time we did spend together was great! It was so nice being all together as a complete family again.
We actually got to do almost everything on my to-do list! We Proulx’s know how to get the most out of our days for sure!
Here are some pics from some of our adventures:
Saturday Farmers Market
[AMAZING PB in every flavor imaginable! Many samples were had ]
[I ate my WEIGHT in fruit samples! Literally I ate the equivalent of like 12 pieces of fruit! It was SO INCREDIBLE!!! Especially this Guava above!!!]
[FORTY different kinds of humus!!!]
This place is more like a full blown festival rather than a market! So many cool products to taste and so many cool things to see. Oh how I wish I lived near there! I would probably be broke though!
Hiking at Torrey Pines
These pictures hardly do the beauty of this place justice. Truly breathtaking.
Dinner at The Fish Market
[They gave me THREE fillets of the freshest tilapia I’ve ever had! All three were demolished of course!!!]
We also did a little shopping! Not on Black Friday, but we still got tons of deals! I will snap some pics of the goods I came away with when I get home. Gosh, I just love the stores on the West coast! World Market…WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE!?!
From everyone’s holiday recap posts it sounds like you all had amazing times! Thanksgiving kind of marks the start of my favorite time of year….I can’t wait to share all the season has to offer with all of you!
Hoping your transition back to work/school goes well!
Quick: Number one thing you enjoyed about the holiday! GO.
