Since when does my family start decorating for Christmas 5 months early? I mean, I know it’s a big holiday (and we usually go ALL OUT!)…but isn’t this a little much? At least that’s what I thought when I came down stairs to this over the weekend…
Haha! I am just kidding though….we are having some renovations done and the closet we store all of our Christmas decorations in had to be emptied. But I will say that seeing all the Christmas stuff actually got me excited for this year’s holiday season
But on to more presently appropriate things…
Staying with the Fitness theme for this month…I need some help from all of you! I have kind of exhausted my usual interval routines on the cardio machines, have been doing the same weight circuits forever, and can only run a few miles in the extreme heat….so I really need some new workout ideas!
Don’t get me wrong I am pretty active even on the days I don’t workout…my bike is my best friend! But I am just looking to change things up a bit! So what are your favorite resources for coming up with workouts? Or do you have some fun routines of your own to share? Send me an email or leave some love in the comments please! (Ps. Don’t suggest yoga! I just can’t get myself to practice, especially HOT yoga, when its Summer time for some reason….my flexibility is definitely taking a hit, sadly)

Good eats this past week
Some combo’s I can’t get enough of lately…
-turkey in my eggs (takes them to a whole new level!)
-cottage cheese with blueberry jam
-tuna salad of ANY kind
-dipping dried apricots in sunflower seed butter (TRY THIS NOW.)
Reviews galore coming up this week…oh and I also wanted to run an idea I had by you all! Since recently having read Unlimited, The China Study, and Health Food Junkies, I learned so much more about nutrition, diet trends, and different ways of eating. A lot of specifics that I never knew before! I was thinking it would be interesting to do a “Focus On” post once a week highlighting a different way of eating. For example one on Paleo or Macrobiotics or Candida… There is so much information out there on all these diets but often times you don’t get the true facts. These posts would be a way to just identify and understand these eating styles a little more clearly. Just to gain some new knowledge ya know?
Would you all be interested in a posting series like this? I was even thinking of having people who follow these certain diets contribute and maybe guest post.
