I feel uplifted. And I have spending the better part of my listening to (FREE!) Ted Talks podcasts on my iPhone.
I’ve always been a fan of Ted after being introduced to the platform over the years in different classes, but I never realized all the talks were available via podcast on iTunes. I am addicted, people…seriously.
You can literally pick ANY one of the talks and you are bound to love it! So far today I have learned about the possibility of a multiverse, about the importance of being vulnerable, how introversion is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, and how we have to stop fearing failure to create innovation within the world.
My mind is going a mile a minute and I have about a million things to add to my bucket list (note to self: make bucket list page!)..starting with these two:
attend the annual Ted talks convention
give a Ted talks speech
And I WILL do those two things…I won’t let the fear of failure hold me back (thanks Ted!)
So with that little ‘good for the soul’ start to my post, I have another surprise for you all! Since the focus of this month’s WIAW’s is snack-a-lackin I thought I would share a recipe I came up with from scratch yesterday.
I was really excited about this one because it basically started out as a way to use up some miscellaneous things laying around my kitchen (namely a frozen KING sized 3 Musketeers bar) and ended up turning out PHENOMONAL!! It was my first time making cookies without a recipe Now, these cookies aren’t necessarily nutritionally healthy…BUT they sure are good for the SOUL!
Unfortunately I am being a bit of tease because today you are only getting some pictures of my masterpiece. I know, I know…I’m sorry! But I am having trouble coming up with a name for these amazing little treats, so I thought I would ask you all for some ideas and then reveal the recipe and the name I chose in my next post! So start brainstorming people! Here are some of the key ingredients to spark your creativity—
