As promised yesterday, I have another 30 minute workout to share with you all today! This one is an incline walking workout…but don’t underestimate the intensity of a walking workout. This one will KICK YOUR BUTT! Literally (you can really feel it in your glutes!).
This workout is also perfect to share on WIAW since this month’s theme is food and fitness!
I have to admit this theme isn’t my favorite because I think it doesn’t take into consideration the fact that a lot of people who participate in WIAW are in recovery or not at a place where they can safely exercise and making it apart of the weekly roundup may be hard/triggering for them. Just a thought after reading some of the round up posts from last week.
I feel very fortunate to be able to exercise and move my body however I please…but for those out that there that are injured, in recovery, or not physically capable of completing fitness activities for the moment, please don’t feel compelled to have to include fitness into your WIAW post if its not in the cards for you right now!
With all that said…LETS ROLL.
What I Wore:
What I Ate:
[eggs, pita with laughing cow, turkey, apple butter, and onions]
[blueberry jam and pb tortillas, veggies and dip, oranges]
[blueberry jam toast]
[tuna salad, pitas with roasted veggies and feta]
[chopped waldorf salad with humus, feta toast]
[turkey salad, pita with laughing cow]
[tuna salad on wasa, ,eggplant]
[warmed peaches and blueberries with melted pb]
[SIGGI’S!!! Such a treat! Haven’t had this stuff in forever…so darn expensive]
[italian tuna salad coucous, sweet potato]
What I Worked Walked:
I typically cover about 2.7 miles with this walking workout. And just a note…while most of this is walking, I would say every other interval or so requires some light incline jogging because of the higher speeds…so its more of a walking/running workout. Let me know if you try it out!
