What a week it’s been! It didn’t start off that great as I was hit with a ton of school work, but I’m managing it and just trying to take one thing at a time. It doesn’t do me any good to stress or let myself get overwhelmed. I just need to buckle down and get to work! I guess this is what your senior year of undergrad is all about, right?
With that said, I decided to do another WIAW post this week since I am in the mood for writing something light and fun! I am even including a survey that I stole from Allie in addition to the full day of eats. 🙂
It’s always fun to fill these surveys our and let you guys learn a little bit more about the girl behind the blog. So let’s get right into it…
Would always: Say I love you to a family member when I am leaving or saying good-bye on the phone. It’s such a habit and sometimes I get made fun of for it because I do it even if I’m just going to campus or heading out for a walk! 🙂
Would never: Intentionally hurt physically, emotionally, or mentally someone. Sometimes we can’t control how others respond to our actions, but I would never go out of my way to purposefully harm someone.
Picky about: Apples! Not the variety (I like so many of them!)…but more the size, firmness, and amount of bruises.
Not so picky about: Brand names…I do most of my shopping at TJ Maxx, Marshals, or Target. Also, at the grocery store, I always opt for store brands.
I feel for: The elderly. Now that I have an inside look into the aging process, I really feel for those that are aging or going through medical complications at the end of their life. It’s so hard when you feel younger than you are….but your mind and body just don’t want to keep up anymore. 🙁
Smokers. It’s basically choosing to put poison into your body day after day. And then they wonder why they get all sorts of diseases later on in life! After some insight from the comments section, I decided I don’t have the right to judge others for their decisions. Everyone deserves sympathy to some degree. No one is perfect. Sorry for my misjudgment.
Glad it’s ahead of me: Grad school! I can’t wait to finally be studying the things I am really passionate about!
Glad it’s behind me: High school. Getting my wisdom teeth extracted. My fracture.
Early for: Class. 😉
Late for: Doctors appointments…always.
Would pay good money for: A whirlwind tour of Europe!
Wouldn’t take even if free: An offer to move to someplace with worse weather than Buffalo. I want to move somewhere that never changes seasons.
Fear conquered: A bunch of food related ones…a lot to still work to do though.
Not quite there yet: My fear of failure.
Farthest vacation: China or the Philippines…not really vacations but definitely the farthest I’ve traveled.
Nearest: Canada! LOL
Would try once: Skydiving! Hoping to do this with my mom someday.
No, thanks: Scuba-diving…I don’t like the idea of pressurizing and not being able to breathe is one of my biggest fears. Funny, because my mom and dad are both scuba-certified!
Career highlight: Hoping I haven’t hit this yet! If you consider, being a student my current career, I guess you could say getting a full scholarship to my college!
Low point: Can’t think of anything right now…so hopefully it continues that! 🙂
Lie about: Whether I’m ‘okay’ or not. I tend to not want to burden others with my own issues.
Honest about: Anything someone asks me for my opinion about. I don’t beat around the bush!
Too much in my life: Time on the internet. Something I definitely need to work on.
Not enough: Time in the day! Especially lately. I find myself getting to the end of the day with A LOT left on my to-do list. Hate that feeling!
Will always remember: Climbing the Great Wall.
Would rather forget: My bike accident and my knee fracture.
Better than I expected: My ability to get through my injury. It’s easy to look back now of course. When I was going through it, it seemed endless and torturous. But overall I am happy with how I was able to get through it…mentally and physically!
Worse than I expected: My injury recovery time. I didn’t expect all the complications afterwards.
Perfect day begins with: Breakfast and saying my good mornings to my family!
And ends with: A BIG SNACK. 😉 Love going to bed with a full stomach!
And now for some WIAW action! Not as many food pics this week as I’ve been really busy and have neglected taking pictures at every meal and snack. Also, I am majorly lacking motivation to take pictures since it’s getting dark so early now! I am NOT a fan of daylight savings….but what blogger is? 😉
